A mini gardeners worse nightmare
Ok I may be over egging it again.. but the thing that bought me so much gardening joy has turned into a nightmare in my back garden type thing.
We had heavy winds last night in the lower Welsh shed valleys and when I awoke and went to take sprout out for his morning walk at 6:50 (thats bad enough).
I went into the garden to find my mini greenhouse toppled over in the wind with all my hard work destroyed.

I should be able to save half the tomato plants but the majority of everything else is ruined 🙁
I have moved what I could to the safety of the shed and will clean up when I get home tonight.
ok part of it is my fault the Mrs said to make sure it wont blow away, so I put some stones at the bottom, but I should have secured it to the wall/shed as they are hooks on the back… a hard lesson learned.

Are you lazy do you like Malt Loaf?
Well I can answer Yes to both those questions.
But today was a revelation for me, I love a bit of malt loaf with butter on… and now those crazy grape based nutters over at Soreen (website does not look likes its been updated in a while) have produced the ultimate product for anyone who can also say yes they are bone idle and can’t be bothered to cut up their own loaf of malty goodness or event butter it themselves.

A snack sized packet with two slices of malt loaf with anchor butter on.. of course if you have seen this before ignore my excitement… I bought it as part of a boots meal deal, so a tasteless sandwich, a pretend to be healthy drink but something nice and sweet at the end for £2.99 bargain

The BBC want you to report on Local news
Sort of… they are asking for photos of local news billboards to be uploaded to Flickr
We are looking for photos of local newspaper billboards near you – those signs on street corners and outside newsagents which you probably walk past every day.
What we’re after is a simple, portrait photo of any billboard that attracts your attention. We’d welcome as many photos as you like of billboards from different newspapers, but please focus on UK-based local newspapers only.
I suppose its a way to break into the hyper/ultra local news market without the regional press complaining (which I work for)

I am a Welshblogger are you?
Well if you blog in Wales or about Wales you should be!
David (ie the Cynical Dragon) has set up a new website and community to aggregate and have guest posts from the welsh bloggers it’s called strangely enough welshbloggers.co.uk.
It’s initial aim I believe was to organise friendly meet ups in the guise of “Welsh Bloggers in the Pub”, so a wide range of egos that are the various bloggers can drink (Cardiff first probably) and chat without slagging each other off online.
I am up for the idea of going to the pub, and as long as there are not groups of bloggers in their own political groups sitting at different tables sneering at the other bloggers, as there are a lot of serious welsh bloggers out there, where as I just do it when the trumpet of truth breaks down.
There is a webtypesgroup meeting up already but a general drink group is a winner.
